These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by BDP Furnishings Limited trading as The Furniture Emporium ("The Furniture Emporium", "we", "us" or "our"), including all purchases made through our website.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our website or purchase from us.

Product dimensions are approximate unless otherwise stated.

Natural materials such as timber, leather and fabric may display normal variations in colour, grain, texture, knots and markings.

Minor manufacturing characteristics which do not affect structural integrity are not considered faults.
Customers are responsible for checking product dimensions and ensuring furniture will fit their property before placing an order.
5. Flat-Pack Furniture
Unless specifically stated otherwise within the product description, furniture should be assumed to require customer self assembly.
If you are unsure whether an item is supplied assembled or flat-packed, please contact us before ordering.
6. Pricing
Whilst we make every effort to ensure pricing is accurate, genuine pricing or typographical errors may occasionally occur.
We reserve the right to:

Correct pricing errors.

Cancel orders affected by pricing errors.

Refund any payments made for cancelled orders.
Customers will be notified as soon as reasonably possible where this occurs.
7. Orders
Submission of an order does not constitute acceptance by The Furniture Emporium.
Orders are accepted only once payment has been authorised and the order has entered our processing system.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit orders where reasonably necessary, including where:

Pricing errors occur.

Fraud or unauthorised activity is suspected.

We are unable to fulfil the order.
8. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
Ownership of goods remains with The Furniture Emporium until payment has been received in full.
9. Promotional Offers & Bundles
Where products are purchased as part of a promotional bundle or discounted package, promotional pricing applies only while all items forming part of that promotion are retained.
If any item forming part of the promotion is cancelled, returned or refunded, the remaining item(s) will revert to their standard individual selling price.
Nothing within this clause affects your statutory consumer rights.
10. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers:

May be redeemed online or in-store.

Are valid for five years from the date of purchase.

Cannot be exchanged for cash.

Cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged.

May only be redeemed in accordance with any promotional conditions applicable at the time of use.
11. Custom & Special Orders
Custom-made, personalised and specially ordered products are manufactured or sourced specifically for you.
Unless required by law or where goods are faulty, these products cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded once production or ordering has commenced.
Payment in full may be required before processing begins.
12. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery services are governed by our separate Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Customers should ensure they have read this policy before placing an order.
13. Returns & Refunds
Returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds are governed by our separate Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Nothing within these Terms limits your statutory rights under Irish or European consumer legislation.
Customers agree to provide reasonable access to goods requiring inspection, repair, replacement or collection. Where an item or component is to be collected, it must be suitably prepared for transport, including disassembly where required, and ready for collection on the agreed date. Our collection service does not include the disassembly, removal or installation of furniture or components.
If an item is not ready for collection at the agreed time, the collection or exchange may need to be rescheduled. Where additional costs are reasonably incurred as a direct result of the customer's failure to prepare the item for collection or to make it available as agreed, we reserve the right to recover those reasonable costs from the customer.
14. Third-Party Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or make use of third-party service providers, including payment processors and delivery companies.
We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party websites or services.
15. Intellectual Property
All website content including text, graphics, logos, photographs, product descriptions and designs remains the property of The Furniture Emporium or its licensors.
No content may be copied, reproduced or distributed without our prior written permission.
16. Website Accuracy
While every effort is made to ensure the information published on our website is accurate, occasional errors or omissions may occur.
