Return & Refund Policy
Returning A Product
If you have changed your mind about an online purchase, you have 14 days from the day you receive the order to inform us of your intention to get a refund for your order in full, or partially.
To do this, please email us at email@example.com It is your responsibility to return the item(s) to us. Any costs for the return of the item to us will be incurred by you and is non-refundable.
We can arrange uplift of your return/s but this will incur a fee from €60 up-to €150 the fee rate is determined by factors such as your location, the lift requirement of the item/s being uplifted and other reasons that may affect uplift.
You're responsible for payment of the uplift fee, after the item/s has been uplifted and inspected by The Furniture Emporium, a refund will be issued. The uplift fee will be deducted from your total refund and the balance will be returned to you by the same payment method received.
To receive a refund for an online order, the item(s) in question must be in a re-saleable, 'as new' condition and be in their original, unopened, undamaged packaging.
For hygiene reasons, mattresses which have been removed from their original packaging may not be returned under any circumstance.
Please note our network of couriers are not authorized to accept ‘Returns’ unless instructed to do so by our After Sales Department.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
All goods carry a 12-month guarantee, please provide proof of purchase to use your guarantee.
Delivery is '' to your door '' due to covid 19 all deliveries are contactless, doorstep delivery.
Exchanges & complaints will only be entertained with a valid receipt/proof of purchase
Damages or shortages must be reported within 72 hours of receiving goods.
The Furniture Emporium reserves the right to refund orders at any time without notice, examples of but not restricted to are technical errors showing item/s in stock when particular items are out of stock, pricing issues etc... For full information please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Received Order Is Damaged
In the unlikely event that you receive an order that is damaged, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. You can email us at email@example.com. Please include your details, order number and photos of the damaged item.
Damaged item(s) can be returned to our showroom. A replacement will be issued to you on receipt of the damaged item.
If you do not require a replacement, you can choose between a refund or credit note for the same value.
Received A Faulty Or Incorrect Item
In the unlikely event that you receive an order that is either faulty or an incorrect item, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and please include your details, order number, phone number and photos of faulty/incorrect item. Please do not use the product.
My Item Does Not Fit
The measurements for all of our products are listed at the bottom of each of our product pages. It is your responsibility to measure the area in which you will be placing your new furniture, along with the route to the item’s final destination (doorways, stairways etc...).
If the item does not fit, and you purchased it online, once the item is in its original unopened packaging it can be returned within the 14 days cooling-off period. It must have not been used and must be in a perfect re-saleable condition in its original unopened, undamaged package/s.
NOTE: All fees associated with the item/s being returned to us are non-refundable and such fees are incurred by the customer. All items including the packaging must be in a re-saleable condition.

Please ensure you have made contact via email from the same email that placed the order originally before sending back an item. We also ask you include your name, email and order number within the package so we can identify which order the package relates to.
Special/custom order information
Please note any orders placed for Super King (6’) beds, Super King (6’) mattresses, custom made sofas, custom made divan bases, headboards etc… which are covered in your chosen fabrics particular to your order and any other custom orders which are available to purchase in store or online are deemed special orders and must be paid for in full, if purchased on backorder a deposit is required and deposits are non-refundable.
Balance payments are due on stock arrival from manufacturer to The Furniture Emporium /delivery confirmation.
